Don't know if I'm the only one thinking this(and probably not just last to the party on this though), but has anyone noticed how rediciously cheap ps2 games are especially if you just search thrift stores, and yardsales(since I only seem to find these as the decent games to pick up as of late). I mean this with all seriousness, because I think i ended last weekend with 5 games for $20(the fifth game xenosaga episode II by my math was free or each game was four basically taking $1 off the first four games). I think I may be on to something though since my ps2 collection is already as big as the nes one and will probably be even larger before the end of the month knowing my luck

That fact is well-known. Disc-only PS2 and Xbox games are basically free at this point.

That would explain why all the games I picked up are 5 almost everywhere(including yardsales)...guarantee most of those(since all I've picked up besides 2 specific games) are truly cib. I wish it was this easy for every console i have games I already wanted to buy and play...

I expanded my OG Xbox collection over the week from about 18-20 games to ~40 for next to nothing. The Xbox is really in an odd position right now since there isn't much interest in collecting for it. However, now is a good time as the games are dirt cheap and there are some excellent exclusives.

PS2 for the most part can be fairly cheap; however, there are quite a few pricey games on the console right now. The PS2 definitely has the advantage of being the most abundant console for that generation.

See, my plan is to buy up all these cheap PS2 games, wait until the price spikes, then sell a bunch of dupes so I can buy all these expensive ass Gamecube games. I'm glad I got Cubivore on such a deal.

I'd love to get cubivore or any gamecube game but it seems I can get 10 ps2 games for the price of it  (this is sad how this math is going down in my head...I really want to show my n64, gamecube, and snes some love but it's cheaper not to)

I was really surprised when Cubivore jumped in price, seeing as it isn't exactly a well known game. It doesn't really pop up on eBay that often either, but it seems like its anywhere in the 40-75$ dollar range. I wonder if its going to keep rising in price.

I once heard someone claiming they had an early, unreleased disk of the 64DD version, but I believe it was proved fake.

I just wish that n64dd had actually panned out....at least some features from SM64 2 were pulled into the ds version :D I may try to get cubivore but I may be fighting to get it under 30 since that is my goal right now. It's odd but some times it feels like I can go place a bid on something and forget about it and grab it for way lower than the max i'd set myself. Other times nope...maybe with it and smss i'll get as lucky too next month. The only things I'm really missing that I considered essentials in my GC collection anyways are nintendo first parties and a few outside of it like cubivore and fire emblem...

Did you know that Ralph Baer wrote a response/rebuttal after YouTube chump The Irate Gamer (terribly) reviewed the Magnavox Odyssey? It's amazing:
