It's great having you back, AQ! I am happy to hear that things are going so well for you, and - aside from when you are moving - I hope to be reading more of your posts. (Also, I am bit jealous that you are moving to Austin. I have read that it is a great city.)

Agreed. REPO's posts are the best.

For the record, I wear suits to court, depositions, and mediated settlement conferences. (I occasionally wear them to client development events.) I wear slacks and a tie to the office, and I keep a blazer behind my door in case I have to run to court. (Slacks and a blazer, while not ideal, are acceptable for court, and if I wear a suit to the office, everyone assumes that I am going to court.) I wear jeans or khakis paired with a button-down shirt on Fridays.

Austin is alright I suppose. To me it is more of a fun place to visit and hangout, but I wouldn't want to live there. Given Apple's current and upcoming life events, it will be a great location for him to move to. And those statements have no relation to each other.

Planning to go visit Austin this weekend, I have no idea what exactly I'm hoping to accomplish there on a visit, but at the very least I figure I can take a drive around and get a feel for the place.

Damn, I have one busy day, and my favorite fruitcheese shows back up, catnip has a terrible crisis(for which I'm truly sorry and can only sympathize with you and your girlfriend), aaron suddenly gets fit, and REPO is still...well, REPO.

Yeah, REPO, fuck those water heaters.

In the North side of town there is a place called Pinballz. It's worth a look. It's a huge building that got converted into an arcade with tons of vintage pinball machines and arcade cabs, all professionally maintained. Even if you're not in a gaming mood, it's worth visiting for the sheer novelty. Whenever I get to Austin from here in San Antonio, that's one of my first visits.

Also, Austin is home to the Game Over retro game store chain - those are also worth checking out.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
