Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

My exact thoughts. Also on a sidenote, glad to be back. Haven't been here in a few months.

That new Slayer track is indeed pretty craptacular.

I haven't listened to anything new at all in the past several months.

I barely listen to new metal, period.

Just like video games - I'm stuck in the 90s.

By "new" I just mean "anything I haven't heard already before" :P

Keep in mind that I don't really like anything they've done past Reign, so you can take my opinion with a grain of salt.

i love everything up to Seasons but i can see where the disconnect between reign in blood and south of heaven would turn some people off.

Divine Intervention has a couple bangers but it's forgettable for the most part.

South of Heaven has the most inappropriate vocals I have no idea why Araya started singing like that. But yeah that album they adopted a lot of stylistic quirks that seemed to stay with them from that point onward, and I for one don't care for that sound at all.
