Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes announced
Re: Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes announced
I'll be honest. I was one of those that thought we would NEVER get a Ruby and Sapphire remake because we had the GBA games which can allow Pokemon to be transferred to X & Y and felt that it wasn't really needed. That being said I am going to buy this game on day 1 since I LOVED X & Y so much.

One part of me is saying, "heck yeah took them long enough" and the other part is saying, "where's emerald?". I enjoyed sapphire when I had it but I want emerald gosh darn it!

The extra stuff from Emerald will likely be in there. The stuff from Crystal was in HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Yeah but still I liked playing the overarching combination games like that. And it was fun to take on both magma and aqua in the same game. Ah well time to hunt for emerald I guess and try to resist buying those two....

They might throw it in there. In the Gold and Silver remake they added the subplot from Crystal involving Suicune.

They better but still sounds like I'd have to buy both if i wanted to do the same thing I'd done in emerald(which I've never really ever fully finished a pokemon game but I plan on doing it this summer with yellow). I wish they'd go back to making that third game on the gens again...I've always preferred them >_>

They may with "Pokemon Z Version". They've only broke that "third middle version" once though. My friend and I guessed Pokemon Gray but we were off with that one
.

Re: Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes announced
Z version is still rumors from what I see and hear. And only broke it once(bw and bw2 anyone?
). And so far no z. Though I will admit that you did have to semi get all three to get all the pokemon(though I've never done it because I'm not that crazy nor do I have the money....)

Re: Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes announced
All I hope is that these versions have the Battle Frontier, that was hands down my favourite part of Emerald. And Nintendo better let the battles be online (though that's probably gonna be a given).
Anyways, can't wait!!

Re: Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire remakes announced
I am just hoping that they have everything in the game that we got from Pokemon X & Y. While the 3D Graphics are pretty much a given, I am sooo hoping for the experience share to be the same along with Pokemon Amie in the game. Since the original Ruby and Sapphire didn't have day and night in them I'm pretty sure this one will return with the day and night system since Gen I & III are the only ones without day and night (though I hope it is fixed a bit better since night seemed to take forever to get too)
I'm also wondering if the Beauty Contests will return since those were a big deal in Ruby and Sapphire (which I missed in X & Y since extra contests were gone). I just can't wait until we get a bit more information on the games.
