Best Place to Sell?

Post by Kiko68 »

Hey there everyone, long time lurker...now it's time to post! :D Anyway, I have been eBaying things for a bit now but eBay is slowly turning into slop, soooo...wondering where the best place to sell games, systems, accessories, etc.? I have a couple games I'm waiting to sell (Nights into Dreams, Chrono Trigger, etc.) but was wondering if there was a better way than eBay? Want to get the most out of them and fees + the other crap that's happening on eBay isn't making it easy. To cap off this post, I'd like to say that this is an incredible site + forum and have learned a lot from the time spent here. Hope anyone can give me some advice...any would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You can try selling through the Buy/Sell/Trade forum here or on other gaming websites (e.g. www.cheapassgamer.com). Alternately, I have also had some results using www.chasethechuckwagon.com.

Hey man, I agree with you about eBay. These 10-20% final value fees on games are killing me! That being said, I've had mixed success selling stuff here and on Craigslist. Here there's an overture of mutual respect and understanding of what stuff's worth, probably cause we all share gaming as a hobby. However, the number of buyers is, needless to say, smaller than eBay, and I've found myself posting a "for sale/wanted" topic without any interest. Craigslist is another viable option that I've had OK results for, as mentioned earlier. These two kind of help make up for eBay's recent crappiness.
