Good luck with that....the voices looking back on it(even if they're just battle voices), suck. It'd be great if it wasn't for that.

Your guess was right, it's this one:BoneSnapDeez wrote:What the hell is Fire Emblem 6?
You're probably aware of this, but just in case:BoneSnapDeez wrote:As far as imports go I think I'm most interested in the game we didn't get on the DS.
Well it was the number one reason I bought a 3DS.Awakening is one of the best SRPGs ever.
True enough. My favorite SRPG series started in the 16-bit era, Front Mission... and although it had two DS entries, it did indeed peak a long time ago during the PS2 era. Such is the way of things. Most every other JRPG series that began during the 8 or 16-bit era peaked a long time ago.
Fire Emblem 6's story follows on from Fire Emblem 7 (the first western released one). The game released in the west as 'Fire Emblem' is a prequel to Fire Emblem 6/Sealed Sword/Binding Blade/Fuuin no Tsurugi (take your pick).BoneSnapDeez wrote:Yeah I'd translate it to Sealed Sword ("Sword of Seal") but my Japanese is slipping lately.![]()
I love Fire Emblem but never bothered to look into the chronology of the series for whatever reason. As far as imports go I think I'm most interested in the game we didn't get on the DS.
Such a great series. And the games seem to gradually get better with every installment, Awakening is one of the best SRPGs ever. Most every other JRPG series that began during the 8 or 16-bit era peaked a long time ago.
