A friend of mine wrote and directed a movie that included Kevin Heffernan, Michael Ian Black, and starred Michael Linsroth. Sucks that it never had a decent release or dvd print.

I had to look up Keffernan and Linsroth... man, I am not a fan of Broken Lizard. At all.

I feel like the ASM franchise exists so they can make a Sinister Six movie. And the first two films are there to build up to it.

Man of Steel on DVD. Wasn't as bludgeoning as it was in the cinema but still as badly structured and strewn with plot holes. Russell Crowe speaks entirely in exposition and the action moves really fast but is dull. Terrible waste of Amy Adams as well.

Anyway, wasn't the worst film I saw last year (or this) but the negativity towards MoS is mostly justified.

EDIT: Up on Poppy Hill. Lovely animation as always from Studio Ghibli. It's a bit thin on plot but high on emotion.

It exists to sell toys. I'd fire the marketing manager, as this should be huge. Yes, Spider-man is everywhere, but kids aren't saying "Spider-Man is selling first class postage? So COOL!". The toy line stinks. The movie based video games (SM2, PS2 aside) usually stink too.

Sinister Six could be awesome, but I agree with that guy with the glasses that for a super-hero movie the drama was way better than the action. Th brief action sequences were very, very ho hum, and the cgi didn't do it any favors. This movie should have the entire audience on the edge of their seats, gasping, dropping their thirty dollars worth of popcorn.

LINCOLN

DDL is incredible. So is TLJ. So is the movie.

The Man Who Knew Too Little (1997) - This notorious flop is very silly and very funny. It is basically a "Pink Panther" movie starring Bill Murray - in all of his awesome Bill Murray-ness - and it is as least as good as some of Peter Sellers "Pink Panther" films.

Clearly, you have never seen...<shudder>...Revenge of the Pink Panther of Trail of the Pink Panther.

The Man Who Knew Too Little is better than Return of the Pink Panther, but it is not as funny as The Pink Panther Strikes Again.

My issue is that after seeing THE PARTY anything starring Peter Sellers I am totally sold on.
