For a system that sold something like 105m units and has the largest non-PC game library in videogame history , I am surprised I hardly have any games I want to pickup from PS2 classics. I just got Manhunt.
Probably because of the HD releases and compilation games on the ps3.
Also,
I am thinking of joining a videogame addiction clinic. I am starting to buy games that I want and games that I never wanted to play. Its really hard to refuse buying Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger when I can get both for $10. Thats probably less than what I would pay in shipping. I also got Red Faction. I never knew anything about that game, but for $1 who could resist?
@KalessinDB
I do not live n the USA so DVDs and Blurays are very expensive (for some reason). DVD's in dumb bins are usually $8 to $13 (and I am talking about obscure european movies). I saw a double feature Da Vinci Code/Angels & Demons BD on ebay for $16 shipped . I bid in the minimum and a maximum of $30 automatic bid. I won. I think I was the only bidder. Usually I would pay $16 for shipping only.

Damn, that's nice. Blurays are starting to get cheaper around here, but gotta love the 1-bidder scoops.RCBH928 wrote:I do not live n the USA so DVDs and Blurays are very expensive (for some reason). I accept that I will be paying beaucoup bucks for that one. Ideally, I'd like to pay a fellow forum member, not an ebayer, but y'know. I'm not in any hurry to get it considering I'm kinda broke right now (honestly shouldn't have bought Waterworld, but like I say WHO EXPECTS TO WIN A MINIMUM BID?), I figure when I decide to get real about the search I'll have to go on NA and maybe Planet VB too.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

I think the PS Vita is a great handheld hampered by incompetent UI design and a lack of enthusiasm from developers. Having purchased one recently, I'm amazed at how disappointed I am with it.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
For some odd reason the ui on the vita really doesn't bother me that bad....it's just annoying that there aren't more games available for it than there are....
On another note am I the only one who misses when nintendo and others did the port carts and even in some rare cases(which i thought was awesome) the double pack carts? I don't know why but I always enjoyed the idea of the dual packs on single cart...

I've been keeping an eye on the prices of the Wolfenstein games on Steam since The New Order is coming out soon. I guess I've been asleep at the wheel 'cause when I decided to browse the Steam store while waiting on a friend I found the games were on sale with only five minutes left.
Thankfully, I was able to buy them before the sale ended.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
This happened to me once, I don't even remember what game it was. I didn't realize I won until a few days later and I threw apologies at the seller for not paying promptly. Thankfully they weren't too pissed.KalessinDB wrote:You ever throw in a minimum bid on ebay and walk away, not expecting you'd actually win?
Yeah... guess I own VB Waterworld now. Opening bid of $50, which is a good $10-15 less than alllll the other copies I've seen listed for the past couple months. I had legitimately forgotten I made the bid until the email came in today.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
winning a bid should be automatically deducted, its up to the buyer to give in his info for shipping.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Every seller I've dealt with on there has been very understanding. Usually when I win they're willing to wait(of course I know I won't always be that lucky). In fact I won a 3ds w/luigi's mansion all CIB like new for 131(waiting on shipping info now)....didn't think I was going to win. Guess it helped the buyer set the reserve at 110 or 120....hate those reserves though...Gunstar Green wrote: This happened to me once, I don't even remember what game it was. Discovered "The Wolf among us" on my phone...I wish I hadn't. A little gruesome to some extent but a interesting story for the game. Some of the decisions though kinda make me mad that i have to make because it's almost like a real life choice in this game

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I thought the same thing too at first, until I changed the settings for the OS to be button controlled. Then I rearranged everything on the UI to be more sensible, and all is well. My only problem left is this crap:Flake wrote:I think the PS Vita is a great handheld hampered by incompetent UI design

I HATE that every time you start up the Vita you have to touch the screen. I don't enjoy putting finger prints on an otherwise spotless screen, especially considering many Vita games don't require touch input at all. With every OS update I hope they will fix this stupid swipe-to-start crap but alas.
