@CD, oh ok, do don't select Saikyo style - got it!
@Maru - yeah, that's a great stick, but no, it's not an easy drop in mod like the current gen sticks. It's a job to replace both buttons and sticks on those. You might be better off paying to have it done, or selling it as is - they are coveted sticks, but unless you are versed, it's a tough job. I'm middle of the road, maybe just short of middle of the road and I ruined my last HSS-0136 trying swap in new buttons, duffed a solder when undoing it and smoked the PCB :/

Re: Dreamclub: Street Fighter Alpha 3
VERY important question for CD... is Saikyo, Classic, Normal, etc all the same scoring? All OK to include? I had never selected another, but just hit Classic to experiment. Had always left it default Normal. Beat my high score, and was within f'ing an inch of lifebar of the 1CC. Just need to know if it's legit to include this score or not?mjmjr25 wrote:@CD, oh ok, do don't select Saikyo style - got it!

No, they are different modes.
Saikyo is the hardest, where you do less damage, take more damage, and no super cancels.
Classic is like original SSF ll: No supers, no air blocking, and no guard meter; plus moves have their original motions. (i.e. Sagat's Tiger Knee)
Mazi is a powered-up version where you and your opponents do double damage. (I think?)
Plus, you only can lose one round to the AI.
As far as scoring goes, I have no idea. If I left anything out, I'm sure CD AGES will correct me.

Re: Dreamclub: Street Fighter Alpha 3
ah fair enough. Prob not cool for score competition. I'll just stick to Normal as I have been then.

Yeah, makes sense to stick to normal - I can't imagine you'd score higher with any of the others from the sounds of it anyways. I'd say if someone wanted to play the other modes, more power to 'em, in fact, I think CD should have to play Saikyo!

I'm sorry, but Final Boss Dictator is brain dead easy. His AI is heavily pattern based, making him easy to read and punish accordingly.
