How Is Your SNES Gaming Going?

Yeah I know. You guys can make a pool or fun of me all day long guys it's all good. Hell even I laugh at myself. I tried and tried hard to stop playing games all together. I put all the systems away. Then between being always on racketboy, and getting the genesis and snes for free, and listing to a friend telling me to be yourself and who cares what people say or comment about you as long as it makes you happy do it and playing retro video games makes me happy.
I got rid of stuff that I never play anymore and just have a couple wii games though the wii is put away. I only have sega genesis collection for the 360 and the system is hooked up for only Netflix and the genesis collection.
Now that I have games for the snes and genesis, I got what I need for now and I'm not going to thrift stores anymore or flea markets everyday like I used to. If you guys only seen how bad I really was back in the day. I had games for systems I never had. I used to spend 200+ a month on games. That part of me I need to control. I promise you guys though I wont ask if I should get rid of this or that system and make stupid threads or polls and so far im doing pretty good.

Haha, the one in the factory level? I would have NEVER found that on my own, yet some how secrets like that in video games were passed around before we were all on the internet.

I still say that this is the biggest bunch of bullshit of a secret to find in that game:

Orangu-tan Gang is the worst level in DKC. It's already probably the longest, and yet there's 5 bonus stages (most in one level) and you have to BACKTRACK to the beginning to get the first one and you gotta flap just right. Ugh.

Tell me about it...I had the gba game(back before I knew it was a ported remake) and that level always got on my nerves for some odd reason...

@ mas: On your hunt for SNES games, I really hope you're not gonna pass by DKC3. I haven't fully read the last few pages (just skimmed) but I noticed how a lot of people said DKC3 isn't as good as the others (or similar). If you play the first two and like them, you must play the third. It's still a great game.

Ziggy im not going to pass it up. I just have to waittill next month or so or maybe if I do flea market and I see it for 5.00 or something then cool. Right now Because of trading my wii games that I don't play anymore and 360 games and ds i ended up getting these games in 2-4 weeks. I still kept wii/360 games i got here on racketboy, but what i sold i got these snes games,

I cant think of anymore on the top of my head but for right now like what i wrote on the genesis thread im off to a good start and i think that should be a good selection of games i want to pick up. I know i have no rpg's but i don't care for them except for Zelda.
I want vertical shmups but i can only think of raiden. im going to have to do research.

I'll buy actraiser 1 and 2 and Raiden Trad from you in your next purge

Enough about me and my purchases. Let get back to the original topic. Will be playing dkc 1 tonight.never really got into the dk games so im going to have fun and try to beat 2 levels tonight.

Heh I'm still holding my breath for the time when they finally release a new version of dk64...don't get me wrong I love dkc, but even if it's the n64 in me talking I want a new version of dk64. That said I need to find out what happened to my dkc1 on gba....

They'd probably get rid of the DK rap if they did so, and that would be a travesty.

Quite honestly that couldn't be more true still the only rap i can listen too since it's still quite funny....I'd just love to see another "true" 3d dk game
