100% correct, sir. Why Nintendo had to abandon that style still confuses me. This is why I play almost all my GBA games on my GB Player with a Super Famicon controller.Hazerd wrote: There is definitely a following of people who hate the way you hold the GBA SP in your hands, i prefer the original GBA to any handheld, just feels more comfortable.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I prefer buttons on the left/right of the screen, not below.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Ehh i may have to get a gba(original model) soon anyways my sp I can't get the door off again(purchased one off ebay since the original went missing after I left all of it on the table and oddly the only part missing). Ah well it was bound to happen sooner or later that I was going to want one....even though I've been half tempted to really start playing my gb/c/a games on my gb player...the games feel and run amazingly on that compared to on a handheld....

Well then play on a gb player! Hate to say it but even though it's more expensive than a decent disk, probably the best way to play without looking at the screen for a normal gb console

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Sadly I do not own a Gamecube, or most of the games I used to have for those handhelds. If Nintendo would be a bit more cooperative with the Virtual Console that would be awesome; I own a 3DS and a Wii U...

Well you could also go the route of emulation but honestly I still prefer to play games with their hardware...

I finally beat the second Liberty City level in Grand Theft Auto. Now I'm wondering if I should take a break to preserve my sanity, or to keep playing since I completely wasted the level when I did finally beat it.

Is it me or, are the 3rd party joysticks made for the Atari 2600, and 5200, better than the first party ones included with the console.

"Shmup" is far more elegant!

I went through 2600 sticks like crazy back in the day. I wore out many of those Epyx 500XJ joysticks with the comfortable grips and buttons underneath -SNKnicotine wrote:Is it me or, are the 3rd party joysticks made for the Atari 2600, and 5200, better than the first party ones included with the console.

Microswitches for the win! But I have a Slik Stik that works incredibly well even to this day.
