It's a quality game man. Really execution light, easy to understand-hard to
truly master mechanics. The game is more focused on spacing and terrain control than most other fighting games, it's very mind game-heavy and combo-lite. This version has the most to keep track of, as it's the first SC game with 'meter' uses... but it's still all very easy to understand.
I enjoy all iterations of SC thoroughly... yes. Even SC3. So I cannot say my endorsement is without bias. SC is easily my 2nd favorite franchise next to Tekken.
If it turns out not to be an enjoyable fighting engine for you, at least enjoy the character design, OST and stages- those are also amazingly done in every SC game.
