Hrmm I may have to give it a go next time I see it, I've only ever played the gba version of it

How good is that game? I've really been half tempted to try it since I've loved the m&l series(and yes I know that's a spiritual successor to the original mario you're talking about)

How good is SMRPG?

WHOA. Yeah, all of those except for DKC3 were indispensable pieces of my childhood. Have you played any of the X games before?
Man I'm really killing of my shelf space. I just thought to myself and said what the hell and grabbed the rest of my 360 games except sonic collection and got 53.00. Just got megaman x and dkc2. Will get my genesi game on friday but Im done buying or trading for a while. Can't wait till play mega man this afternoon.
I've beaten all three DKCs, and while DKC2 is a nostalgic favorite of mine, I think DKC3 fixed a lot of problems in the series and made things much more interesting with its faux-open world design. Of the three, I would be much more likely to go back to 2 or 3 than I would the first DKC, which I admit I had to come back to multiple times before I finally finished. I think the worst moment in that game has to be its secret within a secret...
