I'm going to play final fight on my day off Wed. For now all i have been playing is streets of rage 2 and street fighter alpha 2 on the snes. I really got used to the pausing in between rounds.

Stay directly above of below him. When he charges, he will head slightly to the left or right. (He cannot charge directly up or down.) If you move in the opposite direction - or if you can manage to stay directly above or below him - he will miss and be left open for an attack.

FYI: The boss's name is Sodom, and he is a fun playable character in the Street Fighter Alpha games.

When you have him grabbed, don't touch the D-pad, just hit Y

His name is "Katana" in the SNES version, but I do recognize him from alpha.

 I remember that now! I guess Nintendo didn't like the fact that he was named after a city named in the Old Testament. (The name Katana also makes a lot more sense for that character when you think about it...)

I plan on playing through Ys IV and V this summer. As well as Xak: The Art of Visual Stage.

Possibly Brandish as well. Maybe Brandish 2 if I'm feeling completely insane.
