Where Would One Buy A Fat PS2 Optical Drive From?

I just have to mention that the title of this thread should be: "From Where Would One Buy A Fat PS2 Optical Drive?" I was tortured with the notion that sentences should not end in prepositions. I apologize.

Additionally, this might be a good thing to know. I would hate to see the day I start seeing disc read errors on my fatty PS2 (as happened to my original one).

The fact that my college English teacher is potentially squirming right now at my bad grammar makes me very happy indeed.

Update: The spindle seems to be holding well (which is what originally snapped off) but after a few test opening and closings, the Drive Laser Elevation Arm snapped in half! Shit!
That's now been glued though, awaiting the 24 hour bonding process. The progress continues...

Is there is any risk of the laser eye hitting the game disc when that arm snaps? A concern if a hard to find game gets scratched.

Should be okay, the assembly that the laser moves up and down on can only go so far before being restricted by some sort of stopper (which for now, isn't broken).
