Radio Shack clearance
Radio Shack clearance
Well if you guys didn't know radio shack is discontinuing their video game services. So they are selling every game they have for cheap. I bought Metal Gear Solid 4, new for 20 bucks. That was only 1 radio shack anyways, so I dunno if any other stores are selling it for more or less. But yeah that's what I saw. Hope that helps ya guys with your christmas shopping or personal needs.

Comics, RPG's, miniatures, and now retrogaming? I guess its time to learn to go without eating...
Re: Radio Shack clearance
I checked out both of the Radio Shack here and unfortunately, not much games to speak of. Ratchet & Clank for PS3 was $20, but I don't really care much for those types of games. GTA4 was $30 for X360, but $53 for PS3; so, didn't get that either. GHIII w/ guitar for PS3 was $40, but that game ain't exactly high on my priorities.
I was really hoping for LBP or Valkyria Chronicles (yeah right, like any non-gaming store would have VC), and I'd rather save my money for those games than get anything else. The rest of the games were generic titles like Lego Indy and Kung Fu Panda for 360, and the God of War games for PS2 and PSP. Oh yeah, some sports game for PS3 was $10, but meh, a sports game would have to have "Mutant League" in front of the title to get me interested.
I was also really hoping for something, like MGS4 for $20, that I could sell somewhere else toward the purchase of Valkyria Chronicles. Oh well.
Still, every game related thing (other than consoles) was at a clearance price, so it is very likely a company-wide deal. Not much of a loss: Radio Shack always had games at high prices. I only shopped there when they would have computer equipment on sale. Gotta 160GB external hard-drive for practically peanuts once.

I went over to my Radio Shack at lunch, and they don't appear to be having a clearance. maybe its only in certain areas?

Re: Radio Shack clearance
Huh. I don't recall ever seeing gaming stuff at my local radio shacks. I don't go there much, though.
