Hopefully NoA won't be stupid this time around. The Wii U could certainly use all of the releases it gets.Retrogamer0001 wrote:Hopefully it gets a NA release...RyaNtheSlayA wrote:So they announced a new Fatal Frame game.

I didn't really enjoy the first one. Is this one suppose to be any better? I mean, I know it's different games, but will it be the same thing pretty much?alienjesus wrote:NES Remix 2 is out on Thursday. I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, it more of the same really. It has Super Luigi Bros. (Super Mario Bros mirrored, with luigis high jump and slippery physics) and a little competition mode where you played for a high score through Mario 1, Mario 3 and Dr. Mario, but otherwise it's the same as before.Ziggy587 wrote:I didn't really enjoy the first one. And that's fine by me. I adored the first one.

More of the same yeah, but at least the game selection on this one is much better. The first one was a fun pick up and play game where my brother and I would pass the controller back and forth. I'm sure I'll get this one at some point.

In case anyone is interested, Madcatz is selling the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade stick for $49.99 + shipping on Amazon. This is a really great deal for a very high quality arcade stick. It's worth noting that this is compatible with both Wii U and Wii since it connects to the a wiimote and acts as a classic controller.
I grabbed two of them so the wifey and I can play some Shock Troopers the right way.

Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
I just got a Wii U. It's a fun system and actually feels and plays like a console. Sort of reminds me of the Dreamcast in a way. I originally only got it for the 1st party games but then I started graviting more towards some 3rd party games and it's fun. I even rebought games I already owned on other platforms like Batman Arkham City Armored edition and Mass Effect 3. Playing them on the Wii U is a whole new experience.
My thoughts on it as a whole, it's a good system despite it not being as powerful as the Xbone or the PS4 but what matters is the fun factor on the games, but just the graphics. I could of sold well if it was marketed right and if nintendo actually did aggressive advertisement, hell any advertising for that matter even.

Yeah. I think Fatal Frame is the first thing many of us thought would fit on the Wii U. I'm interested to see how it will work in practice though. Sometimes things like that seem like a good idea but actually aren't. So far I haven't enjoyed anything that requires me to hold up the gamepad as a camera like ZombiU and Batman but what Fatal Frame aims to do is something else entirely.
Older. Not wiser.

Yeah, I'm a few days late lol. I'm a little late to the party on Fatal Frame (or Project Zero, as they call it here) in general though. I've only ever played the Wii remake of 2, but I love it! I think the series would work great on Wii U. ZombiU is still one of my favourite games of the last few years and I think it made great use of the gamepad.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Little late to the party on that.Reprise wrote:OMG, YES!!! I doubt it will come to the US, but maybe, just maybe if we did the same thing with Last Story and Xenoblade it may come here.
