In all honesty that is true....I've played the demo of fez and have mine craft and would swear someone like capcom or some other big name dev made it instead...

In other random thoughts: now that sony has given us access to all of the ps1 classics(I think) on the vita, spryo the dragon holds up amazingly well it seems even if the graphics didn't age well...

I quite liked that game myself.
I just beat it, so I'll be posting my thoughts about it in the Games Beaten 2014 thread. Before I do that I'm going to play through the original Mega Man for comparison. I will say that the scoring system is vastly improved in Powered Up and that Yellow Devil was pussified.

Seriously though, aren't most Mega Man games terrible?

A few years back, Noiseredux and I put together a re-make of Megaman: Wily's Revenge (GB) for Megaman Powered Up and put the download instructions on his RF Generation blog. I think the files are probably still on the server if you're interested in trying out our interpretation. Sevin even did a mock up UMD case artwork for the project.

Here are the codes:

44645843-005
44645843-006
44645843-007
44645843-008
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

What modern console/digital service has the largest Neo-Geo library? Its about time I buy an arcade stick and play SNK games.

Don't know if it's the best choice in the world but I know I've seen heading or two for neo geo games on the wii vc...of course I haven't ventured too far into the vc stuff lately because I'm more on the owning it physically realm as is(and haven't ventured much beyond nintendo and sony and probably will only venture far enough to get some of the old sega consoles)

To my knowledge PSN of all things has the best library.

I disagree. The Wii line up is best - it has 54 Neo Geo games on VC.

The Neo Geo Station on PSN however, has online play. Multiplayer is a pretty big part of a lot of those games. The library is anemic however. I'm also curious how much longer Nintendo is going to keep the original Wii VC around considering they're shutting down most of the online features for it.

If they end up shutting it down I might want to hurry and get a wii u, several sd cards, and hope I find some extra money soon for some of the stuff on it that's wii stuff and not the actual old games(the retro games i'll play on the original systems if I have too)

You gonna count the Neo Geo X? Cuz if you mod it to read from SD card, that'll be it. Kindasorta.
Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!
Cheat sheet of my collection, always looking to increase it. 405/677 licensed games, 46/"95" unlicensed
