Nice! Let me know when you'll be in town. I will try to drop by your show, and I can certainly meet up for a meal.Luke wrote:Might be in Charlotte on the 27th of May for some stand up silliness. Looks like a good possibility I'll be dropping jokes in the Queen city.

I'll let you know as soon as I do. Ten hours of driving for a short set might not be worth it, but who knows?prfsnl_gmr wrote:Nice! Let me know when you'll be in town. Smile: Lunch with my wife.
Frown: Last day of Spring break for her, so I'll be lunching it solo for a while.

That's a little strange...though of course usually most teachers i've had if the school didn't like them they just mysteriously disappeared during the summer to another school...

Didja know Marc Summers has severe OCD and that messes cause him to suffer from panic attacks? Kind of nuts considering Double Dare and such.

*sigh* i have a new reason to move out...everything I do for fun has become "childish"
the pains of being a gamer and mom not understanding that and respecting the life choice to play video games like i do
Too bad there's no way to check on applications on saturday in north carolina since all the hiring managers are never at the locations I want to try to get into for the other positions...

Go out of your way to help out Moms before playing games. Make it a habit to ask her "Is there anything I can do to help?" before you plug in.darsparx wrote:*sigh* i have a new reason to move out...everything I do for fun has become "childish"

Your Mom might say "childish" but what she's thinking is "couldn't he be spending his time more productively?". If you ask to help out and she has nothing for you to do, just say "in that case I'm going to play a game for a while" and you get a free pass. And if she does have something for you to do, do it, and then you get a free pass. Win win.
I do this with my wife too. It let's her know I care and want to help out, but if there's nothing to do, then I have an excuse to play da vidja gamez. But yeah, empty the dishwasher, vacuum and dust the house, mow the grass, clean the appliances, do a load of laundry...do something to pitch in before getting glued to the screen.
WOW: A tornado dropped down in my town yesterday. Shingles all intact, so all is good.
Smile: 'Bout to go "a yard a sellin" on the hopes of finding some games.
