It's being produced by Justin Bieber's manager so I think shittiness is guaranteed.TSTR wrote:^I hope the movie is as awesomely shitty as the TV show.

Last night was the first time I watched the entire movie, unedited.
I always told myself, "One of these days I'll buy this and watch it from beginning to end like it deserves". Yesterday was that day.
And Holy Moses, Best Buy is a ghost town. I must have been the only customer in a sea of blue shirts. No way is the location in my city going to last another two years. Gone with Circuit City it will be.

Somehow I've never seen more than 5 minutes of it either.dsheinem wrote:Luke wrote:Shock!prfsnl_gmr wrote: I am surprised you did not own it already...

It's not life-changing, but each of you really should sit down and watch it at some point. IMO, it is John Hughes' best work. (Ferris Bueller is really, really close, however.)
Also, I just realized that - other than She's Having a Baby and Curly Sue - I have seen every film John Hughes directed (and I have no intention of seeing either She's Having a Baby or Curly Sue).

Everyone has that movie that everyone says "You need to see it!" but when it's on cable you think, "Eh. I need to see the entire movie". For some people it's THE GOONIES or FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF, for me it was THE BREAKFAST CLUB.
Going to "watch" AMERICAN HUSTLE on the small screen tonight. I've got a poker thingy going on tonight/tomorrow morning, so it might just end up being background noise but I'm fine with that. Hopefully J-Law will distract some of my competitors.
