What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

You're still on the green side of the grass, so look at it as it being a good year for you. Enjoy each day as if it could be your last, 'cause it could.

Smile: Spending the day outside, and it is a gorgeous day to be outside. Can't wait to come home and have dinner on the patio.

Well a little ticked that sony removed the ps1's from the store but i understand why since they were supposed to only be available in a update to vita.

On better news due to that loophole for 24 hours I somehow managed to put spyro on there since I'd purchased it hoping I could add it but at least now I do have it on my vita ;) the controls are a little weird but it's fun

Smile: 2 sales completed, 2 appointments made, 2 reorders placed.

With what I do, a good sale starts out at around $20,000. This is a decent sale, so there is room for improvement, but I'm just starting down this weird path.

Building a bridge, I started talking food with the owner of an independently owned haute cuisine joint and the more I talked, the more engaged in the conversation he became. We must have waxed on modern menus for a half hour.

Menu talk switched to equipment talk which led to me making an on the spot pitch for having the right "marketing equipment", Lame? Yes. (...don't worry. I didn't say "Speaking of having the right equipment for the kitchen, you also need the right equipment for your business!")

So instead of just printing out a few thousand business cards for the company, we'll be doing a lot of promo items (including t-$hirts), cards, flyers, menus, etc. for 'em.

Frown: My wife spent kudos on a stupid hose wheely thingy and flowers today.

Smile: The house does look nice though.

We have this really cool hose that expands when the water's on and shrinks when it's empty. Goes great with:

:D The herb garden I finished out front today.

:D :D :D

Though it will not mean much to anyone outside of Australia (even in Australia most people who are not Collingwood, tend to hate the club), Collingwood were down by 5 goals after a quarter of footy and ended up winning by 4 goals, was beautiful to watch with 90'000+ at the MCG on ANZAC Day.

:) Great Craigslist score, mentioned in the LWIF thread

:( Girlfriend tells me she's getting sick so I shouldn't come visit this weekend. This whole distance thing fucking sucks, it's been almost 3 weeks since I've seen her because I've been working so many extra hours lately and when it's a 3 hour drive it's not easy to just pop over after work. Sigh.

Smile: Can't wait for the weekend to begin. Tonight is poker night, accompanied with AMERICAN HUSTLE as the background noise. Hells yeah.

:) - meeting went really fast for a 4 hour meeting and just more of a new atmosphere and more encouragement to really use empowerment/engagement with customers and we get nicer looking name tags out of the deal it seems :D (why am I getting excited about this? )

The rain might cease by nighttime. Fingers crossed for yous.

Might be in Charlotte on the 27th of May for some stand up silliness. Looks like a good possibility I'll be dropping jokes in the Queen city.
