What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Store swapping has become fairly popular in the grocery business in the past decade. Partly because it helps the business thrive, but mostly because it's mutually beneficial for both parties.

:D

Nothing makes a day more pleasant than opening the windows, doing some spring cleaning and cooking an awesome meal before setting the night aside for some gaming.

sad - rain friday
happy - will be in a meeting instead of bagging and doing carts

sad again - I'll be in a 4 hour meeting

happy again - getting a nicer amount of hours do to this meeting...and might be going to the outer banks so maybe i'll get some valuable experience to get into a job when I get back that can transfer to full time(the experience states that I will come back and do what i was doing before but with being gone about 4 months doing something else i'd hope it would make it easier to transfer over to a better position...

:( an acquaintance of mine committed suicide. didn't know him real well but he played guitar in a great local band here and was very good friends with lots of people i know. really sucks. this also comes after two of my friends have died from heroin overdoses this year and another acquaintance involved in the local music scene was murdered while delivering pizzas.

been a downer of a year so far.

Geez that sucks...I just never can understand or figure out what goes through people's heads where they think suicide is the only option/way out. Though drug overdoses have become a little more common on the news. And pizza delivery isn't something i'd wish on anybody especially because you can go into some shady areas where that's bound to happen if you're not careful...hope somehow the year turns around for you though, something good is bound to happen that will make up for those bad things...

thanks for the replies, guys, and honestly things haven't been super bad for me this year, just had a lot of strange, seemingly inexplicable losses in my periphery and that tends to sour the landscape a little bit.

just got word from my mother that a distant cousin of mine died of an overdose in maryland last week as well. :?

Damn, aaron. I think you've had a enough "strange, seemingly inexplicable losses in my periphery" lately to fill a lifetime.
