Yeah the manga is way longer. Haven't seen it myself, but I love that artist (he also did Bubblegum Crisis). That OVA was awesome. Check out Riding Bean if you haven't!

woahhhhhh so jelly :o That's awesome!

In other news, I'm watching through Yu Yu Hakusho for about the eightieth time, along with Samurai Champloo for the fourth (both with buddies who have never seen them). Just finished the Yusuke v. Jin fight in YYH, shit was awesome.

Log Horizon is starting to grow on me things have definately started to pick up about 5-6 episodes in. Characters are starting to get a little more developed and the economics and politics of the game world are pretty interesting.

Also caught episode 3 of No Game No Life. thought the game they played this week was pretty interesting with some really hilarious moments. Can't wait till the next episode.

We'll right now watching Attack on Titan dub on toonami....yeah the voices fit semi-appropriately. Would've liked if they'd made Eren a few years older voice wise. That is my only annoyances about this dub so far...it's pretty accurate otherwise from when I watched the sub...

Still slowly watching Gurren Lagann. It's a solid show, but I'm not really sure I'm liking where the story has went since I've just started the part after the "timeskip".

Speaking of "timeskip", I'm closing in on that point in the show in One Piece. Still loving this series alot.

Not to spoil anything but things heat up again, don't worry.

Started watching Space Battleship Yamato 2199. Only through the first episode but man the animation is superb. I really like older style anime compared to modern stuff so the art design is really up my alley.

I watched two episodes of the Yamato remake and yeah, it definitely looked like it had potential to be one of the most faithful remakes in the medium. Looked amazing. I'd like to watch seasons 2-3 of the original Yamato before I hit it up though.

@CavZee: What Gunstar Green said. You could loosely divide the series up into 3 arcs, 1 which is about half and up to the timeleap, then there's two distinctive arcs. The part you're at (I'm guessing), I wasn't big on either, but the last stretch is incredible.
