Wrappin' up a bit early tonight to watch some playoff hockey.

But man, even though it was only a few hours I felt like we got a ton accomplished! 8)

Hope you guys liked the surprise characters and the shenanigans that we had in those matches. Some real hype last minute shit went down, loved it.

I haven't played anyone, yet. I still suck at it. It is technically more complex than older installments.

Gotta get out there and play people man, sucky or not. No way to tell if you will strive to practice more until you know you can reliably connect to opponents and not have your inputs show up 50+ frames after you input them (per my experience on PSN with KoF13).

If you want any general tips on how to play '13 as opposed to previous KoFs or have character questions, let me know! I'd be more than happy to talk shop on any fighter, let alone ones I play (and FG theory in general)! :mrgreen:

That's disappointing to hear that KoF '13 sucks online. It's one of my favorite newer fighters.

Yea it's really a shame, the game is beautiful from an artwork perspective and brilliantly executed from a gameplay perspective. I dunno why everyone can't figure out whatever netcode Namco uses, because as of SC5/TTT2 it's nearly flawless with even a 3 bar connection. No form of online will ever come close to matching offline, but stuff like GGAC+R and KOF13's netplay features/netcode are almost unforgivably bad.

I can get over a poorly implemented lobby system like Injustice and SF4, because at least you get to play a halfway decent (connection-wise) match when you finally find someone/a lobby... But netplay so bad that you can't even ATTEMPT to play the game as you would offline is pointless.
