What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I'd imagine a Jurassic World just means Transformers style dino rampages through the landmarks of New York/London/Shanghai/Cairo while people scream exposition at each other. I'll pass.

I saw the Amazon Fire TV commercial with Gary Busey and in true form he was screaming his name at the top of his lungs at the TV. Then it clicked. Gary Busey is that special kind of psycho that watches his own movies like he doesn't know what's going to happen next

Fifty Shades of Grey started out as Twilight Fan Fiction.

Thought I'd share.

Didn't Hammond fall in a ditch with a broken or nearly broken leg and was then eaten alive? Dr. Ian Malcolm also died didn't he?
I've seen sketches of the human dinosaurs, and they're pretty terrible.
I'll answer your spoiler with another spoiler.
Hammond survives the whole ordeal in the book and they are pretty much waiting for the rescue helicopters to pick them up before the whole island gets carpet bombed. He is messing around in front of the main building doing something(maybe smoking) when a loud roar blares out. He freaks out and ends up falling over a hill badly injuring himself. Turns out his grandkids were playing with the loud speakers and the roar was an audio clip they played on accident  . Compys then find him and a small pack slowly eats him alive. He is within 50 or so feet of safety when this happens and if not for the neuro toxins in the compys saliva he could have screamed for help and probably been saved :P. Pretty gruesome but he was a real prick in the book and it was just to funny that after surviving everything his grand kids who he brought to the island basically as a marketing scheme end up killing him :P

It's been quite a few years since I read the book so I might be wrong about some of the minor details but that is pretty much what happened.

My question is who the hell would want a dinosaur human hybrid? I don't see any real purpose to it unless Wu just looses his freaking mind and some nut job gives him the resources to pull it off.
Wu didn't even make it through the first book
So whatever the hell they are doing is probably completely outside of the JP universe Crichton envisioned. That is unless they use flashbacks.

Okay, now I remember.
But so weird that he obviously died, and *shazzam* he's alive again.

Malcolm did appear to die in the first book but they had some crazy explanation on how he lived at the beginning of the second book. A Trex did bite him, shake him around, and toss him to the ground but he survived the attack through some freaking miracle. He lived till the end of the book and was airlifted out. He was however pronounced dead later but the second book said that was a premature call :P.

In the Movies Hammond never really gets into danger. He is in a seemingly safe location for the whole entire first movie :P. He is in rough shape in JP The Lost World but they never mention him dieing so the common consensus is he is still alive.
Here is a great resource if anyone needs a refresh course on JP

http://jurassicpark.wikia.com/wiki/Jurassic_Park_Wiki

Edit:

Don't know about the quality of the source but I just found this on the Wiki on their JW development page.

http://jurassicpark.wikia.com/wiki/Deve ... ite_note-1

(2010)
It will be the beginning of the second Jurassic Park Trilogy
(2013)
March 16th
Irrfan Khan will play a rich NRI in the film, who owns the Jurassic Park. It's a new character as the film is more of a reboot than a sequel.

Know what scene the movie should have included? The part with rolling around raptor eggs. That was an intense read.
