I have seen both compared to each other in real life displaying the same images in tandem. The LCD looks nice, it does. But the OLED is more vibrant, has no motion blur, better viewing angles, deeper blacks, truer hue accuracy, and can be very bright without desaturating the screen. In my eyes there was no comparison as to which was best. The OLED outperforms the LCD, end of story.
Yeah never been one to even try to compare differences but the OLED is definitely nice. It actually kinda makes me hope that the 2000 model doesn't sell as well so maybe they'd go back to OLED. Even I don't like the way the new one looks...

I don't know why but in going from retron5(don't ask me how XD) on amazon I stumbled onto this:

I don't know why, but I want this game.....it just sounds like a quirky japanese type game I really want(besides katamari which I will be getting for my vita next month hopefully) on my vita. (Darn you prfsnl_gmr for getting me hooked on strange japanese games!)

Have you heard of the trilogy of those games on PS3? From what I understand of that portable one it's actually quite different, since the console games were turn based RPGs.

Very Japanese, very funny, and a lot of fun. Though I would recommend skipping the first if you do check them out, as story isn't really a big factor in those games and the combat is just awful (imo) in the first game.

Nope haven't heard of many games on ps3 especially since during the biggest part of the ps3 era I was a nintendo only person(due to family). I only really know of the bigger name series you heard about on tv or in ads before videos on youtube. I'll have to look in to it later...

The first game has been ported to the Vita as Re:Birth 1, and utilizes the combat engine from Victory. Supposedly is coming Stateside this summer.

Okay guys. THIS close to pulling the trigger on a PS Vita. One last question: the PSP games available for download from the PSN store. In general, what are their prices like? I'm particularly interested in games like Phantasy Star Portable or Parasite Eve 3.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I think you can see most of the prices by going to the PSN website. But they are usually between 6.99 and 19.99 with soemwhat frequent sales.

Logged in to FFXIV on my Vita right now via remote play with PS4. Works fine, and I am roughly 15-20 miles away from home. Can't say that I'll do very much since I'm at work and normally play the game with keyboard + mouse, but it's kinda cool!

You could check it out on the store website, it just depends on what the publisher wanted to sell the game for....(even though last i checked we're still waiting on some psp and other classics to finally hit the vita for download...). Though I purchased my vita and haven't looked back...though I'm really half tempted to get a psp as well for the sake of having the original hardware...

The online store doesn't seem to show much of the inventory.
