Endlessly debated selling/buying/reselling practices

To get things back on track, I was bringing my recycling out the other day, and noticed a bin full of cables and misc electronics near the dumpster. The scavenger in me couldn't help but dig through, and I managed to find this bad boy with the plastic protectors still on it: Image
Definitely not the find of the century, but for being completely random and free, I'll take it.

I seem to be on a roll with Gamecube lately. I just found Lost Kingdoms CIB for $2 at a local missions shop. I don't know much about this game but it was certainly a standout against the sports and racing games they usually have. :)

Dang, I've heard a lot about that one so I would think that's a good find ;)

Onyxthecat wrote:The games that I think may have collector value are:

King's Quest III - First Print
King's Quest VI
Rise of the Triad
Conquests for Camelot

I need to do more research on these.

I don't seek out PC games but I found a few sealed for cheap last year and sold one for a mint compared to what I paid for it.

I've never played a card-based RPG game so I have no idea if I'll like it or not. I picked it up thinking I might just use it as trade-bait but I'm now leaning towards keeping it in the collection. I seem to remember reading about these games being hidden gems. :?:

Its very loosely a card based rpg. Basically the cards summon monsters or deal attacks, but its an action game.

Got a box of coleco / atari stuff today, not an amazing deal, but cool to get a lot at once:

Lady Bug and Smurfs are 2 of quite literally my all time favorite games. I played these 2 games (and Kangaroo) more than any other games in the 80's, so i'm quite excited to see how my kids receive them when we play this coming weekend.

Yes hobie, the odyssey stuff is for you 8)

Lady Bug and Donkey Kong/Jr. were my first games I got on Christmas eve but then I woke up to a Sega Genesis and Sonic and forgot about them forever. I had fun playing them all night though. Too bad colecovision isn't worth anything or else I would hunt it down and find out what my mom did with it that day.
