Really? Word. While I'm genuinely disenchanted regarding nearly everything American politics, I do find it a very fascinating field. Do you remember where you wrote it? I'd love to read :D
I feel disenfranchised because all of the idiots out there who also get to vote, diluting mine.

 I'm so close to done my first Shakespeare play (I promised I would read one if my gf finished FFIX), and Jesus, it's a wall of soliloquies. This is truly the worst thing I've ever read. I don't understand any of what makes Shakespeare so beloved, and probably never will.

Smile: Just smile. Today is great.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

8) - kroger is making HT compete more with walmart so we have to lower prices, but they're making sure it doesn't affect our profit sharing checks next month....just hope they're right...that extra money is going to be nice if it's a decent sized check....

Not to mention I also beat Katamari Damacy(even if it's not 100% but that's hard to 100% for me >_>)

Shakespeare is not very good to read. It is very good to see performed, which makes sense, since these are plays. I'd bet that reading the book of any play or musical would be a pretty lousy experience compared to actually seeing the production.

Yeah, I've seen a few productions and they've been much better; there have been a few at the school I work at, and I went to see Joss Whedon's Much Ado. Still, though, I can't help but feel like he's speaking in a different language. Everyone I've talked to says, "it comes to you eventually", but I remain unconvinced. I still have no clue what the hell he's talking about 90% of the time.

Anyway, I'm washing it down with some Stephen King every scene or two, so that's a smile-worthy note, at least!

It definitely is a skill to learn to decipher the language. A good production can definitely help convey meaning through proper use of inflection and physical action. There's a troupe back in Chicago that does mostly Shakespeare and they have become very good at performing those roles for a modern audience.
