I saw Glitch Mob last night. Their new stage show is awesome! It's what I've always imagined some band in a cyberpunk fiction would look and sound like. Phenomenal show!

Those are outward facing, sectioned touch screens (Lemurs) that trigger small samples. They also have electronic taiko drums. It makes electronic music far more of a performance than your typical dude with laptop and headphones.

4mat just released a new album called Nadir. I'm only part of the way in through my first listen, but already I am in love :

Chiptunes are finally coming about and using Genesis soundfonts. Here's some decent tunes on soundcloud:

Now listening to Tobacco: Ultima II Massage

It's filthy, grimey, nasty, dirty, scuzzy and fuzzy, and in all the right ways.

Careful, clicking on that got me stuck in a never ending pile of cookie requests. I fought over a dozen trying to answer them from the newest down before I gave up and just forced my browner closed. :?
