Okay, so I changed the battery out in my US Model 2 Saturn recently and I always use a action replay 4 in 1 cart with my system. I then try to play a copy of DoDonPachi and it gives me this message before the game boots..."Cartridge not suitable for this system" and takes me to the CD player menu. Then I try my other games. EVERY game both import and US work fine, but DODONPACHI!?!??! I then put back in the old dead battery and the game loads perfectly...what is up with this? Why just this game? Anybody else experience this before? Any info would be awesome.
Why will Dodonpachi not load with a working battery? I find this strange.
UPDATE. I don't think the battery has anything to do with it as now all my games when i have the action replay in (it's the newest version cart without the pc port on top) gives me the "cart is unsuitable error" I then cleaned the cart and it made no difference, put it in and out like 10 times and it gave me the same error... so then i was thinking my cart slot was going bad so i put in my Sega brand back up cart and it works every time! I then just removed the sega cart and crammed the action replay in the cart slot as hard as i could and now everything is loading no problem and no more error...do you think the cart is going bad? Or are my contacts in the cartridge slot bent or something? I'm kinda confused as why my cart is acting up. It's working as we speak, but i'm afraid to take it out now

Maybe some Dodonpachi save memory is corrupted due to the battery getting low? If you switched it fast enough it might not have dumped everything in the onboard memory.

that's weird. I was using a AR 4-in-1 to play it as well - the cart that has the PC port on the top.

same here Dodonpachi works just fine with all my 4 in 1 carts, like said before might be corrupted save data. Try deleting it then relaunch the game.
