lulz, Mike. You need to tap the stick forward while holding A, and you'll see the bar turn dark red. When the bar fills up again, you need to quickly let go and tap A.

So i'm clear - we are racing the amateur circuit (against other racers) and NOT time trials, correct?

Yes. Tournament mode, 1st series, default racers/settings.

Got it. Well, I don't, but at least i'm playing the same thing. I don't know how to make up the time i'm behind w/o boosting and I crash every time I boost. Going to have to focus on one track and figure out where to boost properly. Fun game.

Basically, any straightaways, or long gradual curves are ideal. Like on Beedo's Wild Ride, the open section with the 2 small drops is a good area. Also, across the bridge before you get into the one cave is good as well.

The straight before the finish is where I boost too, and usually carry it until the 1st series of turns.

had a way too busy weekend, so didn't get a chance to play anything. Anybody have a chance to try to tack down some of fox's times?
