So this random box showed up at my door today

Inside was a pc, so I gathered my tools

But then had someone who wanted to help

Then everyone else wanted to help

Then I opened it up and I think I needed better tools for this

Man, I'm clueless as to what is going on there. I'm confident Slime (and you, Fast) can fix it though?

I know those are all different PCs in those pictures and that's likely not Mike's mobo since it isn't a standard green like would be in an HP but...
That's some impressive burning on that mobo. I can't imagine that all came from that bent over cap, so I guess it was an AGP card burning itself to a crisp.

I thought it might say something like that, but hard to read it that size.

It is mostly fixed right now. Cleared out a bunch viruses and malware, and fixed some registry programs. I am doing some deep scans right now just to be sure, but by this time tomorrow it should be ready for shipping.

Something is amiss about that Motherboard. Love the WD40 to crack it open.

I think the first 3 pics are all mine. I HOPE the mobo is not

I missed Rob. Very well played!

Unfortunately, Amy was right here when I saw the post and she panicked when she saw the cat. She thought I put Fast up to it. She is allergic to cats; almost fatally so.

All of those are the same pc, well except for the Intel board painted black. Mikes pc is actually AMD based.

And yeah, the "Noise sux" sign is a bit hard to read, I looked for a few minutes and could not find any blank white paper in my house. I thought about taking the tower to all of the sites in Nashville and to our farm, but since my hand swelled up so badly Yesterday from a wasp sting, I figure it would be best to not risk anything stupid happening to it.

Since your wife is so allergic to cats Ill make sure to give it another cleaning before it heads out. I honestly did not know, had I known the cat would not have been allowed near it. That is my cat who is usually by my side like a dog when I am in the house, so when she saw the pc she had to help. Funny story about her, when we were taking down wallpaper she would sit on me and try to bite the strands off the wall (she is declawed).
