Smile - Got my 1970s LGB Rigi 900e "broken beyond repair" in last night. I will be replacing the motor soon and hopefully it will be operational.
Ticked - Researching repairs for the Rigi got me on several websites about Gscale railroads...my wife would kill me if I went that direction.
Ticked 2 - Just got the message that I might have to work tomorrow since our sister market is so far off the mark.

Nice recovery there. £28 is about $47! VGPC has the CIB price average for SFA on the rise, and recent completed auctions for SFA have been anywhere from $15 to $25 in the US (about £9 to £15)alienjesus wrote:Lost an auction for Starfox Assault because the price went way too high for my tastes - up to about £28 for what is a 3-4 hour game. I have the vast majority of Gamecube games I want, but a few of the games I want are spiking right now
Won an auction for a Gamecube and 3 games for £22. It has a shitty 3rd party controller, but it does come with 3 games - SSX Tricky, Need for Speed Underground and ... Starfox Assault
But £22 is about $37, so that's a steal for all of that.

I wanted to live in either Minnesota or North Dakota for the college hockey alone.MrPopo wrote:I think this is the first time anyone has ever said this sentence.Aramonde wrote:Want to live in Minnesota so badmjmjr25 wrote:Foot of snow last night
Smile: Had a great work week, and I'm already making sales and personal deliveries. I'm supposed to be two weeks away from even going into the field. Now I just have to keep up and at 'em.
Going to the in-laws for Easter Sunday. Boo to cold ham deviled eggs that taste like pickles and eggs, that marshmallow thing someone brings that everyone pretends to like, and pillsbury biscuits.

Yeah, Starfox Assault is one of a list I have that just shot up recently. The biggest offender is Kirby Air Ride. I remember passing on it for £10-15 back when I was still in Uni. Now it's going for £35-40 and I feel like an idiot.
My major gamecube wants list is pretty small now thankfully:
Kirby Air Ride
Baten Kaitos
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Lost Kingdoms 1 & 2
Doshin the Giant
Ikaruga
There;s other stuff I'd like, but it's generally cheaper and more 'stuff it'd be nice to have' rather than 'stuff I really want for this system'

Good luck on that one. I don't know if PAL copies are crazy expensive, but VGPC has CIB completed auctions in the past few months at $30-$45 (£18 to £27) with some $50 (£30) and up now. I scored it for $20 (w/shipping) back in 2012.alienjesus wrote:Ikaruga
EDIT: I just went to ebay.co.uk and they're trending at £30 ($50) to £50 ($84)! Yikes.

Smile: Seedlings are really shooting up. I can't wait to get this garden in.
Frown: I left my favorite dress pants back at the hotel in Vegas. J T can sympathize. Those male maternity Hagar bottoms are the bomb.
