Almost through with Magi: Magic Kingdom overall it's been a pretty decent season. Only thing that I have been disappointed with is Morgiana drew the short end of the stick and hasn't had half as much screen time as Aladdin or Alibaba. Also while Aladdin's training story was interesting and more closely related to the central story it would have been nice if Morgiana and Alibaba had gotten an episode or two more to show what they were up to.

Go with the original version, trust me. 2.0 just replaces some of the animation with crappy CGI and gives everything an orange filter.
Yeah the original version is much better. Screw the ugly CGI they shoe horned into that movie. The original looks so much better, plus it had that matrix green and black color scheme instead of the orange.

Highly recommend Psycho Pass if you like sci-fi. Incredible OST, nice art style, great story/characters. It reminds somewhat of a futuristic CSI in a way (only the criminals are executed on site). Very mature anime with lots of gore and futuristic gadgets.

Trust me the level of weirdness definitely gets a big bump near the end. The level of craziness in that series kind of reminded me of Deadman Wonderland.

Now I have a craving for a good what I guess I would survival game anime. Anyone got any suggestions. What I mean by survival game is basically something Battle Royale style a group of people pitted against each other in a death match basically.

Last good one I can remember watching was

BTOOOM!

It's been in my Netflix que for a while might check it out.

Just started up No Game No Life. Seems interesting albeit pretty heavy on the perv factor.

Also starting up Log Horizon tonight sounds a hell of a lot like Sword Art Online so I'm hoping it's just as good.

That definitely sounds like a very close clone of SAO like you were saying...I might have to check that one out

So far it okay not great. Everything feels kind of lifeless there isn't a ton of action, the characters are pretty cliche, and there are a lot of repetitive jokes that are already getting old. It's also missing the tension that was present in SAO they don't have a clear enemy 2 episodes in and there is no real goal that they are working towards. Everyone is just there kind of trapped in the game hanging out trying to figure out whats going on.

Things that kind of bug me so far. I'm only two episodes in so there is still plenty of room for improvement still hopefully it gets better :P.

Some slight spoilers
1. I would like to know though is how the main character keeps getting his info there are "30,000 players from japan along and hundreds of thousands from around the world trapped" yet they have no connection to the outside world, there haven't been any system notifications, player communication doesn't seem that great, and nobody remembers anything other then logging in and appearing in the last town they visited :P. The way it sounds there should be more foreigners then Japanese players yet everyone speaks perfect Japanese :P.

2. The game they are stuck in has been around for years and they only got trapped by a new expansion. So everyone is at the damn level cap so the only challenge so far has been the new controls and change of perspective :P.

3. The biggest enemy so far in the game has been...... boredom. Yes people have no clue what to do so crime is rising etc. :P.

4. Players still have their avatars which in most cases don't match their body type. Some people are the wrong sex/size and there aren't many accessible items to change that :P.

I haven't been interested in these type of series for a long time because we get the .hack show where all they do is talk or SAO and become Mary Sue characters to rescue the girl who use to be a badass. I stop watching SAO after episode 15 or so (when they escaped from SAO) when it became too much crap. I took a look at some clips of Log Horizon and from what I know about it, is pretty much a clone of SAO with a small hint of .hack.

I have gotten behind on this season due to school work. There are 3 series I will not miss an episode no matter what. No Game No Life, The File of Young Kindaichi Returns & Nisekoi. Of course, I'm trying to watch 20 different shows all in a week so that could be a problem.

I don't think so, there is always guilty pleasures and stuff that we like that others don't like at all. For example, one of my favorite games on the Sega Saturn is Sonic R. Do I think there are many problems with the game, of course, but I always love coming back to play the game even though I think it is bad.

Just finish watching watching Gunsmith Cats OVA collection from the DVD I own. Man....wish the ova can become a TV series as I like the pacing and the character development of 2 female characters. Now, I am consider to look into the manga version as I heard great things about it.
