So did anyone hear about the new Toonami changeups? Beware the Batman and Attack on Titan are gonna be on there. AOT is dubbed.

I can understand why the cartoons/3d shows are on there but still odd since it was advertised as an anime block. I kinda want to see AOT dubbed....voices may suck but I've still got a long ways before I can listen to subbed and take my eyes off it like I do normal US shows...SamuraiMegas wrote:So did anyone hear about the new Toonami changeups? It's not advertised as that, it's an action cartoon block. It replaced adult swim's anime block, but they still played Symbionic Titan, Thundercats, Samurai Jack and a few others I think.darsparx wrote:I can understand why the cartoons/3d shows are on there but still odd since it was advertised as an anime block. Mirai Nikki is pretty freaking crazy actually ended up stopping half way through the first time I watched it since things just got to weird.Soldier Blue wrote:Watching Mirai Nikki right now. Have also been watching Psycho Pass and second season of Black Lagoon.
Haven't heard of Psycho Pass but I have watched the second season of Black Lagoon. It was a few years back and around 100-150 series ago so I can't really remember much other then it was pretty brutal and I hated the ending.

Yeah Mirai Nikki is wierd as hell. About halfway though myself, and can't stop watching for some reason. All about that insane chick and what she does.Fragems wrote:Mirai Nikki is pretty freaking crazy actually ended up stopping half way through the first time I watched it since things just got to weird.Soldier Blue wrote:Watching Mirai Nikki right now. Highly recommend Psycho Pass if you like sci-fi. Incredible OST, nice art style, great story/characters. It reminds somewhat of a futuristic CSI in a way (only the criminals are executed on site). Very mature anime with lots of gore and futuristic gadgets.

Trust me the level of weirdness definitely gets a big bump near the end. The level of craziness in that series kind of reminded me of Deadman Wonderland.
Now I have a craving for a good what I guess I would survival game anime. Anyone got any suggestions. What I mean by survival game is basically something Battle Royale style a group of people pitted against each other in a death match basically.
Last good one I can remember watching was
BTOOOM!

loved attack on titan might rewatch on toonami. I watch most of my anime on crunchyroll. Recently finished silver spoon which was awesome and started beyond the boundary which is good also. Couple new series I want to watch like black bullet also

Tonight is thai food and Ghost in the Shell 2.0 night for me. Never seen it or the original version before so it should be fun.

Go with the original version, trust me. 2.0 just replaces some of the animation with crappy CGI and gives everything an orange filter.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Tonight is thai food and Ghost in the Shell 2.0 night for me. Never seen it or the original version before so it should be fun.
