Because in one place it's priced at 40 or so for the wii and it's one of those titles not many have heard of(at least I've not heard of it until it was mentioned in this thread)

Pretty much anything here is pure speculation since the market is pretty crazy.
Fragile Dreams has quite a few things going for it though.
1. It's an RPG
2. It wasn't an extremely popular game.
3. It's an Xseed Game
4. It's a very well made game with a unique story/setting and solid game play that utilizes the wii's motion controls nicely.

I think you hit all the points why it will shoot up in price. The unpopular probably ties in with unknown, XSeed (along with Atlus) games usually have low print runs. Throw in a bit of Resident Evil horror aspect using a flashlight combined with Anime and RPG making this kind of a unique title. Your are right about the control, but not for shaking; the Wiimote really has the feel of that Flashlight pointing around the dark rooms.
I've seen this scenario before... The game is readily available on Amazon for $20 new. Once Amazon runs of out of their stock, the prices will shoot up like crazy. It happens all of the time.
The day has finally come . Now go wipe out your local game stops wii inventory .
Sucks they put a $20 price cap on the games but at least its B2G1 on all consoles. They probably did that mainly to keep their PS4/XB1 inventory out of the sell.

Same here I have bought a good chunck of what I wanted and the majority of Wii games that are still in my want list are either to hard to find or above$20. Might go fishing and see what I can find though. Will probably hit the DS and PSP sections before I head for the Wii stuff.
