If the shipping wasn't so high I would totally buy that.
btw you don't need to know Japanese to play most of those games.
When will SNES games start going down in price again?

For some reason seeing a Japanese Madden game cracks me up.

It is not just Snes games but every system or retro item seems to have increased in price over the last two years or so,too many opportunists taking advantage of collectors in the retro scene.I personally believe prices will come down eventually when people finally have enough of the cr*p and simply stop buying.

I believe in a year or so or when people who buy games thinking there not going to make 20,000 for a copy of Mario world or donkey kong because it's "RARE" and it sits on their table or both for month's and we just stop buying games over 20.00.G-Darius wrote:It is not just Snes games but every system or retro item seems to have increased in price over the last two years or so,too many opportunists taking advantage of collectors in the retro scene.I personally believe prices will come down eventually when people finally have enough of the cr*p and simply stop buying.

I gotta add one more thing. Its the thing to collect right now. Until people find out another big thing people will drop big money for its going to stay. Remember benie babies? We need something stupid like that for people to go Gaga for. Until then were stuck.

I'd pick up a Japanese Madden game and I don't know why.SNESdrunk wrote:Awesome!Hazerd wrote:If i knew Japanese, this looks like a GREAT deal! (except the shipping, fuck me)

I'm thinking of moving to the Super Famicom scene. I'd probably just mod a Super Nintendo for it (as much as I want to own a nice looking Super Famicom - much better looking than the SNES) and pick up the games I know I don't need to learn Japanese for. It would seem like an interesting niche (and it helps that the retro store down the street has some Super Famicom/Famicom games) and it's easier to play imports then one would expect.
Might also hunt down a copy of Gyromite and find an adapter for Sweet Sweet Famicom gaming (as much as I would like to own a Famicom)
Systems Owned: NES, Sega Genesis (Non-TMSS), Game Boy, Game Gear, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis (Model 2), PlayStation, N64, Sega Dreamcast, GBA SP, Xbox, Playstation 2, Gamecube, Xbox 360, Wii, Playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo 3DS
