Nice. I've seen collections go for this price and have been kicking around buying in... but there are so many bootleg GBA carts floating around now that I'm too paranoid.

I don't blame you. Every time I purchase a GBA cart online I am nervous it's going to be a fake. I've been lucky so far. There always must be a good picture for me to view on the listing or it be a reputable seller.

I was able to grab a relatively cheap ebay "Buy It Now" right after it listed for a Duck Tales 2 box & manual. It's FAR from mint but it completes my game and the condition is acceptable to me and is something I will enjoy having on the shelf to further enhance my collection (in my eyes, anyway). I justify the price tag in part due to having ordered an Everdrive 64 this week. Once I get that up and running I'm selling off my N64 collection to a friend of mine. I never did have much love for that library. Counting my chickens before they hatch, I suppose.

Could do a light repair on the corner with some book glue that will hold the shape without being terrible like tape. Just the lightest amount along the edge of the tear, two pieces of wax paper (or old sticker backing paper), then clamp it with something square and solid inside the box and let it sit overnight.

Goodwill:

Turbo Grafx 16 w TurboBooster! (AV function on back, unlike the Plus model that has internal save memory)
-Turbo Controller
-Turbo Stick

-Legendary Axe
-Power Golf
-Fantasy Zone

Only downside, no AC adapter, but I have an extra one to test the unit on; the Turbo Stick has a piece loose inside so I have to open it up to check.

Grand total: $16!

Unbelievable. :x

I've been looking for a TG16 in the wild for years now. I did find a controller but there was nothing else. I spent a long time in that booth hunting for it but with no luck.

All I got today was an original Game Boy and an 'Ice Blue' Game Boy Pocket (very happy about this, I've been trying to find one for a long time, but wanted black :?) for $15 total.

The Game Boy ended up not working so I opened the battery door and the connections were severely corroded. I opened it up and took out the terminals which I put into a plastic cup of vinegar and salt, 5 minutes later I could file down the rust to the metal connector so the battery could make a solid connection and it turned on just fine.

The next issue was that the screen had that awful vertical lines. At least 70% of the screen is missing and even trying the soldering iron/heat gun trick it still didn't work. I managed to get 5-10% more lines but that was it. I guess it's garbage since you can't replace the screen. The Pocket is in mint condition though.

Yep, the only other time I've seen a Turbo Grafx 16 anything, was on Craigslist a few years ago that I got with 16 other games for $70.

Looks like one of the turbo slider knob tops is missing. Why don't you pop that other one off and send it to me so I can replace my missing one.

That's a great find though.

Update to my FF GBA collection score...

Just got them in the mail. It took only 3 days after I payed AND the seller refunded me half the shipping cost. He said it cost him less to ship it than he thought it would. This brought my final total down to $79! I've never had an eBay seller do this. This guy is definitely getting added to my eBay favorite sellers list. Stuff was packaged well too.

The carts are in MINT condition and complete in box with manuals along with inserts.

I feel really lucky winning this auction.

Yeah, I noticed that. So I suppose they are easy to lose?
