Re: What's your gamecube library like?
I'm totally cool with my GCN collection, and definitely re-built it quickly enough before most developed any real nostalgia for the console. I have some rarities, so it is nice to own what I do.

Re: What's your gamecube library like?
I've just bought a Gamecube console package, waiting for it to arrive. No games yet so I'll be re-reading this in the meantime to help me make my first purchases.
Res Evil 4 will probably be near the top.

Yeah I've still got to pick up a few first parties, rpgs, and 3d platformers then mine will be complete(for my sake) will take a few months though ha ha. I'd recommend getting a gameboy player too even though that thing is way too expensive on some sites for it's own good, but it might be worth it for what I've tried of mine so far :-\

I'm still surprised as to how hard it seems to be to find used GC games - I honestly just don't see them anymore. Tons of PS2 and OXbox games, but no GC.

Truth. Through all the flea markets and stores I visit, always more of the other 6th gen stuff.Retrogamer0001 wrote:I'm still surprised as to how hard it seems to be to find used GC games - I honestly just don't see them anymore. Tons of PS2 and OXbox games, but no GC.

Yeah, there's plenty at the retro store near here, but that's a drive I only do once or twice a month...

Re: What's your gamecube library like?
Yep, Gamecube games are difficult to come by in the wild, especially at decent prices. I don't ever see certain things like emory cards, Wavebirds and specialty controllers, RE4 chainsaw and Mega Man X pad, in the wild.Retrogamer0001 wrote:I'm still surprised as to how hard it seems to be to find used GC games - I honestly just don't see them anymore. It's part of the reason I pick up anything decent CIB I can find at a nice price... Call of Duty and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 for $2 and change each for example. They aren't on my want list but I can't pass them up.

Re: What's your gamecube library like?
Well yeah that's the thing, I had gone to three of my local pawn shops and it was the same as stated here. They had plenty of xbox and xbox 360, playstation 2(don't remember seeing any ps1), ps3, and a few ds/vita titles as well(which I ended up getting one of those for 10 and the other three were 15 and he threw in gh2 for free). But it was the same story everywhere no gc games. I may need to expand my search next time but that's going to be a few weeks.

Re: What's your gamecube library like?
for GCN I have:
Resident Evil Remake (Player's Choice)
Resident Evil Remake
Resident Evil 0 (Player's Choice)
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Bloody Roar
Namco Musuem
Have no desire to buy the piece of thrash that is RE4. So that
it's for that console. Any other games like Wind Waker have jumped so high in price, I don't even bother lookng for GCN games anymore.

Re: What's your gamecube library like?
RE4 is actually awesome, and this comes from an old-school RE fan who has beaten most of the series. It's also one of the highest-rated in the series, if that means anything to you. I miss the old style of the first three games, but it's really quite good.jvalentine98 wrote:for GCN I have:
