not that specific one. I have 2 of them that are different models. And I've had one other in the past. Why do you ask, my friend?
IDK if it's the TV I'm using it on or what, but it seems as if any 2D game I play with sprite-based graphics; it really seems to exaggerate the pixels. 3D games look gorgeous, but 2D not so much.
I have it hooked up to a 34' Sanyo LCD that has a VGA port on it. Is my TV just crappy?

It might just not be scaling 640x480 too well.
No. Its doing exactly that which is why 2D sprite based games look extra pixellated in when video is outputting at 640x480 with the use of a VGA cable. This is Normal. Nothing's wrong with his cable or TV. Play GGX in this same setup and see how good that game looks. Because that game was designed with sprites at higher resolution. It looks amazing!

I know what actual square pixels are supposed to look like and I'm sure Foxhound does too. I took the statement to mean that it might have been doing something weird like pixel doubling just some of the lines if say it was was doing a bad job of putting 480 lines on 720 or 1080 since neither of those is an even multiplier.
Yeah, the game in question was Capcom vs. SNK. I'm gonna check some other stuff like MOTW, 3rd Strike, and a few others for comparison. I just honestly think it's the TV
It's a cheaper LCD HDTV, so even though it can function as a PC monitor, it doesn't seem to do it very well.
