Yup, the perfect example. It's a great game but no one will be able to play it in 5 years when they shut it down.

Same goes for pretty much any MMO too. Not all of video gaming can be stored on a shelf indefinitely. So, to a point, all the more reason to indulge in those titles while they're in their prime. Even if someone makes a private server later, you won't replicate the experience created by a peak user base.
