Bayou Billy
Loaded for PS1
Alpine Skiing for Odyssey
Baseball for Odyssey
Half a dozen Atari commons

Coolest thing I found today though below. Stack of Atari manuals including Swordquest Earthworld comic and mail-in insert, 2600 console manual, two different Atari foldout catalogs ('82 and '83). Fun stuff

Awesome book find! I love stumbling across obscure stuff like this. Where did you nab these?

Finds for the last week or, er, so.

Image

Dreamcast Demo disk - $0.50
Lord of the Rings: Twin Towers GBA - $1.50
Playstation Storage Box - $1.00 (Yay!)
Stack of Nintendo Power - $2.00 (Double Yay!)

Sega stuff is so scarce around here anything I find around here related to them gives me immense joy. Yes, even the demo disk -_-. They also had both versions of the Web Browsers mixed in with some PS1 sport games, but I've already got those. I didn't see anything else Dreamcast related, so I don't know if I just missed out on some good stuff (I've only got around 6 games so anything would be good at this point) or if the universe is trying to tease me.

The Playstation box showed up around the same time I found the batch of PS1 sports games at my favorite thrift store. As I was walking around with the box one of the workers passed me and said, "I knew you'd find that."

The magazines were picked up by, of all people, my mother. She got off of work early and decided to stop by one of our usual haunts on the way home. When the clerk saw her she yelled "Wait!" and then dashed behind the register and pulled out the stack of Nintendo Powers. They had been saving them for me for a couple of days since I can't make it to that particular store during the week. They're not very old, but they're in good condition and I made sure to thank the clerk when I saw her today. So let that be a reminder to some of you to make friends with your thrift store workers.

I've always wanted one of these things (and a similar Nintendo box) so I was quite pleased. It's got a hole in the back, but what the hell do I care. I was only $1. It doesn't affect the box's integrity and it ain't like anyone's going to see it.

+1 to that

Getting to know your sellers at pawns, fleas, retail stores etc. is a great idea. Can get you discounts, good info, and the occasional crazy good deal.

Local flea market. They have a bin of Atari games that pretty much just sits there, mostly commons. They added a small box of mostly common games and I saw the stack there and grabbed them. I dunno manuals for some reason are almost more fun than games in a way. I was happy to get them. It's like a time warp.

I don't know if free stuff belongs in this thread but I got a sega genesis free from another guy at work who sold his collection off. This version is the good model 1 version of the (non high definition graphics model) not the va7 model. So now in two weeks I ended up with a free snes and a free geneisis.
