http://www.videogamepricecharts.com/ is a good place to start, though I find they're not always accurate. Still, gives a good rough idea.

A good idea is to check Ebay and Amazon and see what things are selling for on them. Just use that as a rough guide, not written in stone. It'll at least give you some idea of hte worth of things.

truth, trade sucked end of story. Sports games for genesis are the bane of my existence. Too many crappy craigslist lots.

glad you didn't follow through. that would been a terrible deal. keep the saturn and explore the library...you won't be disapointed.

Even if you decide you don't want the system, don't take a lousy deal for it. Go on gametz or craigslist and trade it/sell it that way so you can get something you DO want and not get ripped off in the process. Now you have some idea of what it's worth, that is.
