Oh man! I am lubed up and ready to Podrace. This is seriously the only good thing to come out of the prequels...this very entertaining game. Now to give Anakin a little extra slam into a cliffside..YAY!

hey Mike this game is also on the N64 you could play it on your everdrive 64, the dreamcast version does look alot better though.

The stick is a lot stiffer on the N64, I think that'd be an unfair advantage. The Dreamcast's stick is all flimsy, adding to the fierceness of the competition. More room for error, requiring some attunement to the force.

I'm not worried about the controller really so much as it's pretty rare to find such similar ports on racing games - we are going for times down to the hundredth of a second after all.

As I recall on DC racing games you can adjust the sensitivity of your thumbstick - haven't messed w/it recently though.

Anyone have a racing wheel they recommend? I'd like one but no idea which is best, seems to be at least 3 3rd party options.

You gonna play Star Wars Racer?
I played the game a TON back in the year it was released on PC. All the console ports are shit on a stick in comparison.

Right. DREAMclub. We're all playing the same exact game.

I need one too. Everything I've read says that the MadCatz are the best. Seriously.

ZenErik, I think you're the only person to know about the existence of those games...

Anyway, I thought this Star Wars racer was an N64 exclusive.
