A few months ago, I was interested in learning GTK+ and developing a front end to the Linux Sega Master System Emulator, Osmose. In the thread that I posted on the Ubuntu Forums, a poster named zagieman took up the project and developed a front end named GOsmose. Zagieman did a great jog with the front end, but the emulator itself well, sucks. I talked to zagieman, and he said that if I could find someone the code the back end, he would continue maintaining the front end.
Anyway, the point of this thread is to ask, is there anyone here who knows of anyone who knows of any emulator programmers or where I can find one (ie. a forum, site, etc)?
Anyone know of any emulator programmers?
Anyone know of any emulator programmers?

I don't know anyone, but it's worth pointing out that mednafen has excellent SMS support. What we really need on Linux is a good multi-emulator front end. Something generic enough to work with anything from MAME to dosbox. And GoodTools support. And while I'm wishing, I want a pony too.
We are prepared to live in the plain and die in the plain!

Tada! You can have that dog too.

Yeah, but it's CLI-only. I know this sounds "anti-Linux" of me, but outside of "apt-get" I hate using the terminal. (well, CPU-Burn In is okay)Hatta wrote:I don't know anyone, but it's worth pointing out that mednafen has excellent SMS support.
