It's an awesome game for sure. It also reminds you of the fact that Sega has so much legacy that has been ignored.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Somehow, I was recently hooked on Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing (PS3). It is a lot of fun, it has tons and tons of Sega fan service, and I can play it with my children!
What are you playing?

That makes me a little sad too...I mean, we have gone for far too long without a new Alex Kidd game.FerretGamer wrote:It's an awesome game for sure. EDIT: We got one a year between 1986 amd 1990...Alex Kidd was basically the Assassin's Creed of its day.

The Burning Rangers track makes me sad. Oh, Sega, why must you tease us like that!prfsnl_gmr wrote:That makes me a little sad too...I mean, we have gone for far too long without a new Alex Kidd game.FerretGamer wrote:It's an awesome game for sure. Picked up the Tomb Raider Collection off of Steam when they had the big Square-Enix sale a little while ago. It's a fun little romp with a summer movie vibe to it. I know some people like to draw comparisons between it and Uncharted but since I've never played an Uncharted game, I can't really comment.
Still, I've enjoyed the platforming and wandering around. Nice little playgrounds, for lack of a better word, trying to sort out the puzzles and what not. Usually I'm not a fan of puzzles in games, but for some reason I've not minded the ones here.
Getting close to the end of the game now, returning from getting tools on the Endurance. I've not done a huge amount of the optional stuff mostly because I know my laptop is about to croak, so I want to finish the game ASAP. I need to check if Steam does cloud saving for Tomb Raider. If so, I'll just install it on my replacement laptop and do the extra stuff later as what I've done of it thus far has been pretty fun. =)

At the moment I am playing Rollergames for the NES! Honestly the NES is new to me other than the classics so I have a lot of fun just popping in random games and this one pleasantly surprised me. Basically Double Dragon on roller skates (lol) and with obstacles.

About halfway through Haunting Ground on PS2 - very cool and strange survival horror game by Capcom.

Been playing Hitman: Absolution. I'm liking it, though I hate having to play through on normal to find some of the hints and such. I can figure it out normally on hard, but every once in a while I need to know where something is for a challenge, and can't find it without the hints.

Re: What are you playing?
Making my way through Front Mission 4, I'm on chapter 20 of 28. I love this series so much. I've beaten Front Mission DS, Front Mission 3, and Front Mission: Gun Hazard and all of those were outstanding. Front Mission 4 has not disappointed me yet either.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Have you tried Front Mission Evolved? It looks like a major, major departure for the series, but it is so cheap that I am tempted to purchase it.
