Earlier today the escapist posted on smash 6 being developed, so maybe they will pull a Ubisoft and make it a yearly release to improve profitsSamuraiMegas wrote:IT BETTER BE ALL SMASH ALL THE TIMEZeroAX wrote:What if there's non Smash news hidden in it?.

BEST thing to come of this:
Megaman's final smash
Worst thing:

Not even close to worst. Captain Falcon still has not been confirmed. I feel like i wasted my hype and time with this.ZeroAX wrote:BEST thing to come of this:

Re: Super Smash Bros. Wii U & 3DS Discussion
I am not niffed about the pokemon announcement. I think the additions were good. From what I noticed, they really want to limit spreading a character too thin. Pokemon trainer had three pokemon that played completely different. They got rid of him, kept charizard and added a very different pokemon, so I am in favor of it.ZeroAX wrote:BEST thing to come of this:

The best thing for me was the really cool changes they were doing to cater to the hardcore competitive gamer. Allowing a final destination mode for each stage will actually give us a different visual.
Also, I am stoked about a lot of the new characters and their movesets added to the changes they made to other characters to balance them out and make them more playable.
What I do not like is Little Mac. I feel like he will be incredibly OP with the power meter. Yes, his air attacks will not be that strong, I do not think that will be a quality balance for him. You are going to see a TON of Little Macs when the game is released.

Oh come on, they won't remove him. He's been in Smash since the beginning. And he's not even a clone character.
BTW, Chrom pretty much confirmed at this point. If the Fire Emblem level is going to be from FE Awakening (Ferox Arena), then it's pretty much a done deal that he'll be in the game (well....him or that game's version of Marth)

No, the worst thing is that the 2 versions aren't coming out at the same time which means I'll end up buying both because I'm weak.ZeroAX wrote:BEST thing to come of this:

As for Chrom possibly being included....

I believe that this is one of those games that by default would offer a completely different experience on a handheld than a console so it's a good investment. Besides you'll be getting some extra game modes and different stagesCavZee wrote: No, the worst thing is that the 2 versions aren't coming out at the same time which means I'll end up buying both because I'm weak.![]()
I'm guessing the different release dates is also proof that Nintendo is struggling with HD games, and decided not to keep the 3DS version back for the Wii U version to be ready. Makes sense business wise too. Not only is the 3DS getting a strong hitter for the summer season, many of us will also buy both version
I really liked that character but....isn't it too similar to the Marth the game already has? At least Chrom has an awesome cool white capeCavZee wrote: As for Chrom possibly being included....
EDIT
Making the Wii Fit trainer male as well is a wasted opportunity. She could have been the game's first atypical female character (well Samus was that, before they zero-suited her up).

Yeah that's all true, the Wii U version will still be a fresh experience in several ways once it releases.ZeroAX wrote:I believe that this is one of those games that by default would offer a completely different experience on a handheld than a console so it's a good investment. I don't see Chrom as being that much different either which is why I would've like to have female character instead. Tharja also seems to be quite popular....and I wouldn't object to having her included.CavZee wrote:I really liked that character but....isn't it too similar to the Marth the game already has? I like that ZSS is going to be a separate character. Her moveset was interesting but tying the transformation to the Final Smash wasn't a good idea.
