My guess is someone mom donated their gaming collection and were really into PS1 RPGs so I found a stack of really good RPGs and boxed ogre battle. Best group lot I have ever found. Best part about that find it was my second or third time out hunting when actively collecting.
If I remember right Brigandine has a world map then a battlefield map then turn base combat.
Need help identifying a Playstation game.
Re: Need help identifying a Playstation game.
This game IS pretty expensive. Being from ATLUS, that's a good reason why, probably not many copies either. There was also a map with it which seems to drive the price up on completed eBay auctions, with this map the CIB price is over $100, without map $50-$100.

What's funny is that I probably could have found the game at a reasonable price. I think I saw it under 30 once...
...but at the time (when I was really into buying PS1 games), I really trusted the opinion of that same game reviewer that I referenced for the Master of Monsters review. He didn't have wonderful impressions of Brigandine either. So I put my money to other games.
I might have been holding out for a copy that had the map as well, so who knows what I may have been thinking?
But whatever, I like my collection of PS1 games.
Nowadays, I prefer to focus more on acquiring good action titles.
