So I will start watching wrestlemania tonight or tomorrow morning. I have not read any of the posts here so I do not read any spoilers.

To those who have watched it, I do not plan on watching the whole 3 hours or so given that I know there are a lot of "filler" matches in there, can you tell me how much out of 10 would you rate this wrestlemania?

Can you tell me which matches were good and which I should skip?

:SPOILER FREE: (unless you count David Otunga showing up in the battle royal a spoiler.)

I give Wrestlemania an 8/10. Hell maybe even 9/10, it truly delivered some shocking moments. Interesting to see how it holds up over time.

The Shield vs. NAO and Kane is skippable, mostly because it's so short. The Shield have been having great matches all year long all over so no big deal. Wish they could have booked a better match even with the time they had allotted, but maybe an easy payday at Wrestlemania is reward itself for busting ass the prior 365 and the NAO proving they still have "it".

The Divas match was nothing too special either. Not terrible but despite the finish not too memorable. Just kind of "there", like most Diva PPV matches.

Really the worst match of the night as far as the execution and move for move was Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar. The finish is a whole other can of worms, but the match quality was bordering on embarassing. Brought back memories of how bad Undertaker matches have been in the more distant pass (King Kong Bundy, Giant Gonzales, Big Bossman...) contrasted with the excellent run of Wrestlemania matches the past decade or so.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is worth a watch, so don't give up early on when it looks like its going to be a clusterfuck crapfest. It gets real good once all the enhancement talent is eliminated. Took me a few minutes to realize David Otunga was even in it.

Thanks,

you mentioned that you give it 8/10 but didn't mention which matches were good? I kind of going to watch Wrestlemania for the Taker match but it sounds disappointing already

D-Bryan v HHH is good. Title match is good. Wyatt-Cena match is good. Really, just watch the whole thing. They paced the show really well.

Its because WWE tends to mix a lot of crap with better stuff. Some stuff is absolutely unwatchable. I am surprised this PPV has a generally positive reception, usually its 3 bad matches and 2 not bad , and 1 match only is considered good. There were many times that I regretted watching WWE PPVs

I paid for the Network solely so I could watch this show (first PPV I've ever paid for) and I was not at all disappointed. I'd rate the show about a 9/10...and as some have mentioned above, the whole show really is worth watching.

HHH v. Bryan was a great match. Title match was enjoyable as well. I'd say watch the whole thing...you won't be disappointed.

I'm really curious what happens next with Undertaker. Is he really done? It kind of looks that way, he really looked finished on Sunday.

I could totally see next year's HOF ceremony being just Undertaker and that's it -- an hour long tribute where tons of legends (Austin, HBK, Bret, Rock) all speak before UT himself finally talks, out of character for the first time (well, unless you count Bikertaker)

Me too. :( At least he was able to make it to his Hall of Fame Induction before he died.
