Tetris turns 30 this year. Being introduced to the game on NES, yes, I feel a little old.
Weird that the PS2 beginning to be seen as old.

I was born the year of Pac-Man, among a few other arcade legends (Warlords, BattleZone).

I'd like to think I was also born the year of Tempest (my favorite arcade of the era), but I can never get a clear answer on that. It's most likely 1981, but several websites also cite it at 1980.
--EDIT--
Okay, so just checked the back of my Arcade Greatest Hits: The Atari Collection 1 manual, and Tempest is copyrighted at 1981. Still weird that so many people have mixed years, and Tempest is not the only one being confused.

When the PS2 was released in NA (Oct 2000), the NA NES was 15 years old (October '85).

Essentially, the NES was as old then... as the PS2 is now (one year variance). Let it sink in...

WHOA!
That's right, the NES officially turns 30 next year. The same year I do.
Me too, but I totally just said wtf am I doing with my life.

I was born the same year that Atari started selling home versions of Pong.
I was in 6th grade in October 1985 and didn't get my NES until the Spring of 87.
I purchased my Dreamcast the day after release (9/10/99) with the first paycheck of my current full time job/career to celebrate the achivement :D
I got my first PS2 as a house warming present when I purchased my house in 2005.

I'm also right about the same age as Pac-Man (October 1980). Funny enough, the NES launched in the U.S. on my fifth birthday exactly. I didn't get one until a few years later.

Relative to that...I worked at Software Etc in college, and part of that was working the PS2 midnight launch.
